K-pop group ’Hoondoo’, popular YouTuber B&Y Anibus has won Pine Muse’s Global K-pop Cover Song Event by a landslide
151 teams from 31 countries (78 Korean teams, 73 non-Korean teams) have participated through Pine muse platform.
Approximately 43 thousand total voters are from Asian countries excluding Korea, Europe, South Africa, reassuring the K-pop remake‘s fever and global spread.
Through 100% user‘s vote without expert‘s evaluation, 2 winning teams are Team HoonDoo who is currently active in south-east asia and popular YouTuber B&Y AniBus.
4 runner-ups are XPLODE(Argentina), Yana(Belgium), MIDNYT(Kazakhstan), Shin jeonghyun(Korea).
Talented K-pop duo HoonDoo(Lee Seunghoon, Doo Jinsoo) and popular YouTuber B&Y AniBus(Hwang Jinjoo) have been voted for the winning 2 teams out of 151 teams from 31 countries who entered Global K-pop Cover Song Event held by Pine Muse(CEO Pyo Yongchul), and is gathering global recognition.
Global K-pop Cover Song Event held by Pine Muse co.,ltd(CEO Pyo Yongchul) is a pre-event of K-pop Remake Audition Platform which officially opens in June. The event is held for K-pop loving global coversong artists.
With 151 teams from 31 countries(78 Korean teams, 73 non-Korean teams) participating, 43 thousand voters have also participated from 62 countries. The winning teams were voted only by the global voter‘s preference and votes. The participants have all expressed their love and interest of K-pop with their amazing singing ability and musical perfection
The dominating 1st place HoonDoo is a skillful duo who have debuted as quaternion group ’Paradise’ before. Through music contents of Korean and local language, they have started to gain fame in Malaysian and Vietnamese online.

HoonDoo have recently appeared on the ’Big Stage 2023’ which is the Malaysia’s most famous singing contest program and have won 1st place of the 1st contest
With the 2nd most votes, co-champion B&Y AniBus(Hwang Jinjoo) is a female singer who is also a popular YouTube and Streamer. This Cover Song Event entry is known to be B&Y AniBus‘ first external activity, and gained everyone‘s surprise.
B&Y Anibus have covered Yoonha‘s ‘Audition(Time2Rock)‘ with their perfect song interpretation and refreshing singing. Their cover song, ‘Audition(Time2Rock)‘ represents their dream and will of their 1st external activity. They have gained voters‘ support with their singing ability and friendly charm.
“Our previous disappointment and frustration has led to us winning the event“ said B&Y AniBus(Hwang Jinjoo). They have also expressed their will to keep on working as a singer who can heal their fans on their way off work.
The 4 runner-ups(2nd place teams) have also shown different abilities and charm.
’Xplode’ from Argentina have covered ’Lion’ of (G)I-DLE. They have given strong impression with their unconventional atmosphere and dreamlike mood.
’Yana’ from Belgium have covered ’only’ by LeeHi. With their appealing vocal, they conveyed the mournful sentiment of love
‘MIDNYT‘ from Kazakhstan have covered ‘Love me right‘ by Exo. With their natural Korean pronunciation and dancing skills, they have brought both intimacy and perfection.
Shin Jeonghyun from Korea have covered ’Shim(Heart)’ by December. The charm of male voice was well displayed by his high-notes singing skill.

Composer Park-Seulgi will join as a master producer of the production of the winning team’s remake album. Park Seulgi composer has previously took part in prdocuing countless K-pop such as IZ*ONE’s ’Violeta’, Seventeen’s ’Crush’, Exho Suho’s ’Grey Suite’.
Pine Muse(CEO Pyo Yongchul) has announced after successfully closing the K-pop cover dance and cover song event which was a pre-event for beta-testing the platform, ’K-pop Remake Audition’ will be held starting next month(2023 June).
1st remake audition’s theme is ’Revive’, an audition that can deliver message of hope and courage to people around the world in this economic slump after the COVID-19. The audition will be held in two categories, arrangement and singing.
The main audition is scheduled to be open with a new theme every month. Details will be announced in the Pine Muse homepage(www.pinemuse.com) in the future.
